Welcome to Acton-Boxborough
Youth Lacrosse!

ABYL has been developing local boys into competitive lacrosse players for more than three decades.

Our program focuses on teaching the game, developing player skills, and, most importantly having fun!

Players of all ages are welcome to join one of our teams.

It is never too late to start playing the great game of lacrosse.

No previous experience necessary!

We offer free loaner equipment for new players.

FALL BALL CLINIC REGISTRATION OPEN!

Fall Ball 2023

This year ABYL is holding two sessions each 1hr long for eight consecutive Sundays.

Session One: 6-7p Grades K-4 and all New Players

Session Two: 7-8p Grades 5-8: Returning Players Only

Important to note:

The grade level split has been chosen based on Spring Team placement (K-2, 3/4, 5/6 etc... playing as combined teams)

There is some flexibility between the two sessions. Upon evaluation your son may be asked to join the other session based on ability and determined by the coaches.

The most skilled 4th grader will still play on a 3/4 team this Spring and should therefore get used to playing with his respective teammates. Additionally there are safety and US Lacrosse guidlines which vary by level. Long Stick D/ Middie roles begin with 5/6. Safety is also a forefront concern as the 7/8 team is also considerably larger and more skilled than 3/4
